Paul Nagib

Paul Nagib is a first year medical student at OSU. He leads the Defined Media team, which is on track to complete a four-year-old project in which predefined increments of cytokines and growth factors will differentiate hMSCs into osteoblasts within a thin-film version of Osteo-Engineering’s preferred biomaterial for 3D-printed scaffolds (PPF). This “OH-Alive” media’s success will be qualified with qPCR as it allows osteoblast differentiation in almost half the time of other known medias. Not only is he excited to optimize and contribute to this lab’s protocols, but he is also thrilled to apply these lessons in teamwork and leadership from Osteo-Engineering to other endeavors throughout his career.
