Rithik Gobinath

September 2025 - Present

Rithik Gobinath is a Computer Science undergraduate at UW–Madison and researcher at the Osteo Engineering Laboratory, working under Dr. David Dean on the Robotic Skeletal Fixation Shaper (BendyBot) within the NSF HAMMER Engineering Research Center. His research spans medical image segmentation, virtual surgical planning, and the mechanical verification of implantable fixation hardware, and how engineered materials interact with host tissue. He previously worked with the NASA research program, focusing on a sensorimotor neuroscience project studying fatigue and spaceflight analogs. He is a competitive hackathon builder with strong full-stack and machine learning experience.
