Taylor Schad

Graduate Research Assistant, Project Leader: Dr. David Dean

Taylor Schad is a graduate student in Biomedical Engineering working with Dr. David Dean. She completed her B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is currently pursuing a thesis-based M.S. in Biomedical Engineering. Her research focuses on developing patient-specific finite element models of craniofacial biomechanics and chewing using 3D CT-based anatomy, 3D Slicer, and ANSYS. Her work aims to support biomechanically informed virtual surgical planning for future craniofacial reconstruction applications.
