Jacob Socha is currently going into his fourth year at Ohio State. He is majoring in Biology with a minor in Spanish and would like to go on to graduate school to get a PhD. in Stem Cell Biology. In the lab he is currently working on the 3D Extracellular Matrix project, where he will be quantitatively characterizing the bone extracellular matrix deposited on 3D scaffolds. He has received the Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program Award. His other lab experience includes working in the Leverage Point Engineering Lab with Dr. Emily Patterson.
