Taylor obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering in 2012 and her Masters in Engineering in Materials Engineering in 2013 from the University of Cincinnati. Her industry experience includes medical device research and development specifically materials development and 3D printing technology development. She is currently in her second year of the medical school at Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. In the Osteo Engineering Lab, Taylor is focusing on cytotoxicity studies of a newly developed 3D printed resorbable metal alloy to be used for custom mandible implants.
