Aaron Gillespie is currently a junior at Ohio State studying biomedical engineering with a pre-med focus, planning to graduate in spring 2026. Aaron works mostly with the cell culture and surgery team, focusing on the tethered ligands project. Aaron's work mostly consists of optimizing the scaffold printing process and validating ligand presence on the scaffolds. Aaron also helps with 3D image segmentation for other projects within the lab. Outside of his undergraduate classes and the lab, Aaron is involved in Student-Alumni Council, Remote Area Medical, and Phi Delta Epsilon.
